Galapagos Conservation Action Awards support projects by Galapagos-based organizations and permanent residents exclusively that propose an innovative solution and/or take needed action to address and resolve conservation priorities in the Islands, including climate change adaptation actions.

Projects that directly contribute to the understanding, conservation, and restoration of the Archipelago´s insular and marine ecosystems and motivate residents to implement actions to benefit threatened species in Galapagos will have a priority.
